Hillsboro Reads 2026 launches with Inside Tilt: An Evening with Emma Pattee, welcoming the author of Tilt for a special community author talk at Brookwood on Saturday, March 7 at 7:00 pm. Made possible by the Library Foundation of Hillsboro, this free event invites readers to explore the themes of the novel and celebrate the shared experience of reading together.
Throughout the month, Hillsboro Reads offers engaging programs like: OMSI Science Pub: Cascadia Earthquake, Coping and Resilience Strategies with Dr. Deanna Cor, Preparedness Kit Workshop, Lunch & Learn with geologist Dr. Liz Safran on Cascadia earthquakes, Creative Writing Workshop, De-Stress with Zen Doodles & Watercolors and more.
