This September, the Foundation is proud to present a three-part Media & Information Literacy Series at the Brookwood Library in Hillsboro, bringing nationally respected educators, journalists, and researchers together to help community members better understand today’s complex media environment.
A beloved figure with a literary past will soon find a permanent home in the public eye, as a bronze sculpture titled Inner Journey is donated by Barbara Swanson Sanders.

Hillsboro Reads 2026 launches with Inside Tilt: An Evening with Emma Pattee, welcoming the author of Tilt for a special community author talk at Brookwood on Saturday, March 7 at 7 pm.
